As a Google Workspace Administrator, you can enable users in your organization to live-stream Google Meet meetings. This advanced feature is available in specific editions, including Enterprise Starter, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Enterprise Essentials Plus, the Education Plus plan, and the Teaching & Learning Upgrade.
When enabling live streaming, you have administrative control over the audience:
In-house Live Stream: The stream is visible only to users within your organization's Google Workspace domain. The maximum audience size for this feature depends on your specific Enterprise or Education edition.
Trusted Domain Live Stream: You can extend the audience to other Google Workspace domains that you specify as trusted.
Live Stream to YouTube: The meeting can be broadcast publicly to a YouTube channel, making it available to an unlimited external audience.
You can set these permissions for your entire organization, specific organizational units, or configuration groups.

Prevent streaming meetings
Step 1
If you are not already signed in, sign in to your domain as the Administrator at admin.google.com.
Step 2
From the main menu, navigate to Apps, then select Google Workspace, and click Google Meet.
Step 3
Click the Meet video settings section.
Step 4
From the Organizational Units panel on the left, select the Employees organizational unit.
Step 5
Locate the Streaming section. Uncheck Let people stream their meetings and Let people stream meetings to YouTube. This prevents employees from broadcasting meetings internally via URL or externally to YouTube.
Step 6
Click SAVE or OVERRIDE (The button label will depend on whether a previous override exists for this OU).
Step 7
Confirm the change if a pop-up appears asking to verify the settings for the Employees organizational unit.
Note: Changes can take up to 24 hours but typically happen more quickly.
