As an Administrator, you have a powerful toolkit to shape how your organization uses Google Workspace. One way is by managing custom templates. You can empower your team to quickly create professional documents like project plans, budgets, or presentations by setting up a system for submitting and organizing templates in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites.
You can also control the flow of innovation by managing add-ons. Add-ons bring additional functionality to files such as enabling the creation of complex diagrams within documents and streamlining workflows through automation. As an Administrator, you have the ability to allow users to install add-ons through Google Workspace Marketplace.
In this exercise, you’ll grant permission to create a custom Docs template and enable your organization to install a Docs add-on.
Raha has sent you an email about Docs templates. Let's see what she's requesting.

The Docs editors setting overrides the Marketplace setting, so if you allow users to install any app with the Marketplace setting but turn off the Docs add-ons setting, users can’t use third-party Docs editors add-ons.
You can’t remove templates in the Google template gallery.
