In the previous course, titled Google Workspace Data Governance, you learned how to configure a Cloud Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rule with a Context-Aware Access level. Context-Aware Access lets you control which apps a user can access based on their context, such as whether their device complies with your IT policy. Using Context-Aware Access, you can create granular access control policies for apps that access Workspace data based on attributes, such as user identity, location, device security status, and IP address.
DLP rules can be created with Context-Aware Access (CAA) conditions in the Frontline Standard and Frontline Plus, Enterprise Standard and Enterprise Plus, Education Standard and Education Plus, and Enterprise Essentials Plus Google Workspace editions.
In this exercise, you’ll practice creating a Context-Aware Access level and assigning it to a third-party app.
Alex has sent an email asking how to restrict access to Google Vault for certain users.
