As an Administrator, you have the ability to centrally manage Chrome apps and extensions by force-installing them for all users. This ensures that everyone in your organization has the necessary tools when using Chrome on managed devices or accounts.
Most Chrome apps and extensions are in the Chrome Web store. You can also force-install third-party apps and extensions. Users can’t remove items that are force-installed. The items also bypass any blocked apps and extensions.
In this exercise, you’ll practice force-installing a browser extension.
Alex has sent an email regarding the automatic install of some software.

Creating an allowlist does not uninstall previously installed apps from a user's devices.
Just like a Google service, Marketplace apps can be turned on and off at the organizational unit (OU) level.
Some apps are available only for Administrators to install and can’t be allowlisted.
